About me

A graduation is when you exceed a certain number of years in school, and then they get tired of you and kick you out. Although I was just joking, Golf made my four years amazing and making me walk out of here today as a strong, smart, and helpful student prepared to take on high school.  Throughout my years in district 67 I have learned and experienced a lot. I came into this district as a kindergartener. I thought I was going to have trouble making friends, but thanks to all my amazing classmates, making friends was the easiest task on my first day of school. I still remembered all the fun memories my classmates and I had during our old school years. From performing at talent shows in first grade, to learning and seeing toads in second. 3rd grade year I learned how my body worked and was wowed about how much it did.  I remember taking the states and capitals test my 4th grade year. I was raddled up, but as I took it I remembered all the weeks of preparation, Mrs. Mylinksi, had given me and my class, so I knew I was going to leave school that day with a good score. 5th grade was a surprise because now my classmates and I had to leave our family back at hynes and create a new one at Golf. I remember being intimidated by the 8th graders and imagined how it would be to "rule the school". 6th grade was a blast from learning about the Medieval times to reading Sadako 100 paper planes. 7th grade was also very memorable, our school trips to Springfield and Camp McLean will always replay in the back of my mind. Now as I stand here today as a graduate of Golf Middles school's 8th grade class of 2017, I couldn't feel more blessed for all I've been through. I would like to thank my family for supporting me through all my hardships and district 67 for structuring me into the young woman I am today. As we leave here today fellow classmates let's not forget about our bound, and do as we did entertaining Golf, but at Niles north. Let's create an even bigger family with different people and stick together through thick and thin. Yes arguments may appear, but family gets through everything. Thank you parents, faculty and staff, and the class of 2017.

My 8th grade year has really gone by so fast. I know when you are an 8th grader you can't wait till you graduate and leave your middle school but since the school year is coming to an end I am really going to miss everything about Golf. I know I had some bad times at my school but I also had many amazing memories that was spent with my classmates. Coming to Golf I was scared. I was nervous about my locker and about the older kids. Later it all turned out to be okay because now we were older. 6th grade came  and even though the girls here went through lots of drama we all still had great times, for example when we had our end of the year picnic and played soccer with some college kids at National Park. Then it was 7th grade and  we were all nervous about the constitution test but then again we were all excited to go on our Springfield and Camp McLean field trip. My classmates and I made lots of memories on those field trips that we will never forget. Then in a blink of an eye it was 8th grade our final year at Golf Middle School. Spending four years with my classmates we all have changed in many ways. We changed our friend groups we ourselves now look and act different. But it's all in a good way. We all are mature and ready for high school. Even though we had our ups and downs in 8th grade, we had some good ones too! We are all getting excited to go to Camp McLean, but are freaking out for finals. I have to say I am pretty nervous about that but I am sure we will all do fine. Soon we will be walking across the stage to get our diploma and throw our caps in the air saying " YASS finally we did it"!! I will never forget the experience I had at Golf Middle School and will never forget about the class of 2017. We had made lots of memories at Golf and now ready to make more in our future. I wish all my classmates luck in high school and hope their future is bright.

Since the school year is coming to end I have goals I would like to accomplish. One of my goals I would like to accomplish is to finish the year on a good note. What I mean is I hope I end the year happy and with good grades. Another one of my goals is to receive an award. Honestly this has been one of my goals since the beginning of the year so I hope I receive one. Another goal I have since the school year is coming to an end is to stay close with the all the kids at my school. Since the school year is coming to end I also have goals for the summer of 2017. My first goal for the summer is to get tanned. I can’t wait for the warm weather to come and can’t wait to go to the beach with the warm sand. Next goal for the summer is to also work on school stuff. Even though it is summer I still would like to do some what of school work. Third goal of mine is to go out and try things I haven't done before.

If you ever have an important test coming up and you want to take a big L on it well I suggest you keep reading to find out. So first step is DON'T STUDY. While everyone is out studying trying to find practice quizzes you will be sleeping in, playing videos games, maybe go out to a party, and anything you might want to do. Step two is to make sure you choose the dumbest answer for all the questions. The last step is to just not care about it. What I mean about that is when you get the test don't even bother reading any of the directions or stories they provide for you. Now I know that if you do all this you will be done with the test very fast well just take your time choosing the dumbest answers and you will be fine. Good luck!!

I am writing a tribute to my sister Daniella Odisho. My sister is beautiful, smart, and kind. She has made me the person who I am today. She always helps and encourages me to follow my dreams in anything I want to do. She helps me with homework and if I am not doing good in school she always tries to help. She not only helps me with school stuff but also girl things.  At times I want to kill her because she could be so annoying but no matter what I love her and wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for her. I would like to thank my sister Daniella Odisho for everything she has ever done for me.

Get Out is one of those scary and interesting movies you will ever watch. It starts off with a young African American man and his white girlfriend Rose going on a trip to meet her parents in a town full of white people.  When they get to Rose's parents house Chris ( Rose boyfriend) notices African American workers. One was named Georgia and the the other one was Walter. They both acted oddly strange and unusually.  Later on in the movie Chris realizes that Rose is mother has been hypnotizing the whole time so he to told Rose they needed to get out. While Chris was trying to get out and Rose was "looking for the keys" Chris realizes Rose has been part of this game as well. Chris fought through all of them to get out. It was a intense but also funny at the end when Chris is friend comes and saves him since he had been worried about him for the past couple of days.

I thought this movie was very horrific. It really got me out of my seat and I wanted to know is what happened next. I think this movie will get everyone feeling this way but at times there will be some laughter.
